## Introduction

Welcome to the official documentation for **Asteroid Spoofer**.

Asteroid adds realistic fake players to your Minecraft server. These fake players count toward your player total, show up in the tab list and server list, walk around, chat, fight, sell items, vote, and generally behave like real people. The goal is simple: make your server look active and alive, even when real player numbers are low.

This documentation explains every feature and setting in plain language, with real examples, so you can understand exactly how everything works.

### What Asteroid can do

* **Fill your player count** automatically, based on how many real players are online.
* **Look real.** Fake players have realistic usernames, skins, ping, and "has played before" status.
* **Move and act.** They walk, jump, swim, fight, pick up items, and destroy blocks.
* **Chat with AI.** Fake players can hold real conversations with your players using AI models.
* **Run commands.** Give them money, ranks, votes, or make them run any command you want.
* **Sync across a network.** Share fake players across multiple servers behind BungeeCord or Velocity.
* **Stay hidden.** Asteroid can disguise its own name in the plugin list.

### What you need

* A Spigot, Paper, Folia, or compatible fork, running Minecraft **1.8.8 through 26.x**.
* The **AsteroidLibs** dependency.
